FINALLY! It feels so good to be writing my first post for 2018! The other day a new book came in the mail for me and as I went to plonk it down on my bed side table I realised that I had a rather large stack of books to get through! One of my goals for this year is to read more and hopefully finish a new book or 2 every month. Here’s what’s I’m going to be delving into for the next few months:

Little Black Book by Otegha Uwagba – This book has a lot of hype and people talking about it at the moment. Basically it is a compact little gem of tips and tricks for working women and I think has a focus on the creative industry.

Ice Cream for Breakfast by Laura Jane Williams – I have already read a few chapters of this and it is hilarious yet thought provoking! I love the way Laura writes – it’s super easy to read and is all about rediscovering your inner child to help you in everyday adult life. I’m loving it so far!

Home by Emma Blomfield – As we are currently in the processing of building our new home, I have been really into Interior Design and Architecture books. I’ve had a brief flick through this and it is all about how to style your home from room to room. I know this will come in handy come moving in day.

Women’s Wellness Wisdom by Dr Libby Weaver – Basically this is a women’s Bible of all things health & wellness. One of those books you keep on hand to flick through every now and again! Definitely a great book for all women and it is oh so beautiful!

The Couple Next Door & A Stranger in the House – both by Shari Lapena – One of my favourite types of books to read are psychological thrillers and these both came to me highly recommended. These books would make a perfect holiday read!

The Book of Dust by Philip Pullman – This book is a huge wild card for me as I don’t usually read much fantasy style books but something about this one appealed to me. If anyone else has read this I’d love to know what you thought!

And that’s it! Surely that’s enough to keep me going for a little while! If there is any books you’ve loved recently please let me know as I am always on the hunt for new great reads!
